MCFA's Seafood Program promotes greater support for local seafood through creative, innovative, and productive programming and projects. These projects include: a seafood traceability program in partnership with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute; a series of consumer-engagement events; and facilitation of the Maine Seafood Network (MESN). Our Seafood Program will also engage with other parts of Maine's local food industry and ensure that seafood has a place in conversations about locally- and responsibly-harvested foods.
