The Maine Coast Fishermen's Association is shaping the future of Maine's fisheries by working to protect cherished cultural traditions, the marine resources, and a way of life. But fishing isn't just about tradition and culture, it is an important economic driver along our coast and a crucial component to any vibrant waterfront community.  

 

Together, we have been able to preserve access to working waterfront and fishing permits, advocate for sustainable fisheries science and management, and fuel business innovation all along the coast. But there is more work to do! 

The Maine Coast Fishermen's Association is building a fishing future for Maine and we want your help! No matter how clean or dirty your boots are, we hope that you are willing to pull them on and join us in our efforts to keep Maine fishing.
